I’ve been thinking about what I’m going to do with this site, since I have too many blogs and not enough time to post to any of them. But I can think of a few things that I WON’T do- things that I see other bloggers do that I think are becoming remarkably cliche.
- Repost links to posts on other blogs, with no commentary. – It’s not my content. If I don’t have anything intelligent to say about it, I’ll just post the link in my link feed. (See box down below).
- Post an obscene number of YouTube videos. – It’s just tacky.
- Post lists. – I might do it very occasionally, and only if it’s the best way to present the content (like right now, for instance).
- Write in a voice that assumes I have scores of readers hanging on my every word.
